Like most people, my choice to run for City Council was inspired by my love for the people who live in this city, and a vision for future prosperity.

I currently work as a Transportation Planner for the California Department of Transportation in San Bernardino assessing the integration of land use and transportation in City development projects. With this expertise in community and transportation planning, I am motivated to contribute my knowledge to help Redlands develop communities that are safe and prosperous. I will do this by increasing community outreach regarding city plans and developments; developing sustainable transportation, water and energy systems; and proposing better housing options that meet the needs of our residents.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master's in Public Policy from the University of California, Los Angeles. Because of these accomplishments, I will offer a perspective on the struggles of today's youth in being able to afford a quality education and the challenges of entering the work force due to a lack of opportunity. I am also a cycling advocate and promise that no one on the ballot will fight harder than me to make Redlands the safest city for bicyclists and pedestrians in Southern California.

Ultimately, my goal is to foster community in the city of Redlands- because community is necessary to sustain the wonderful quality of life that is offered here. I am proud to have a strong community supporting my City Council run- a community which include my mother, brother, sister-in-law, friends, and co-workers.

Thank you for the opportunity to provide my vision, my passion, and my love for this City. I would be honored to have your vote on November 8, 2016.
